Hotel had very nice layout with view across Tjampuhan River. One large swimming pool near reception and small dipping pool outside our room. Was booked for Superior Family Rooms (travelling with wife and 2 older children) but stayed in 2 delux rooms. These were very spacious and happy preferred to family rooms. New "Bali Style" two storey bungalows just built and located at back of resort. Good if you don't mind climbing stairs (bedroom upstairs). Staff super friendly. Was a bit out of town but free shuttle in am & pm. Still a few restaurants available within 10 minute walk.
Our booking was in $US which they were happy to accept in cash. However we put on visa and they charged in Indonesian rupiah with poor conversion - 10000 IR = 1 US (managed to haggle for better rate however would probably take $US or enough $AUD to change to rupiah next time.
Nice scenery and quiet.
Hotel and rooms poorly fitted out..No menu provided in rooms for room services. Basic amenities in rooms are lacking ,right down to tissue paper. Door scratches against the floor, curtain needs to pratically climb up to close ,phone in rooms are not coneected properly. Too many silly little things to list . Will not stay there again .
shower room had only 3 min hot water
Nice location, good design, clean rooms, good shutle service to Ubud centre. Nice pools, & good breakfast.
Very relaxing place with swimming pools with great view.
Very expensive hotel transfers. There is a TV in the room but it doesn't work.
warning, the hotel is using a very bad exchange rate by using credit card! (+15%)
Beautiful tropical garden setting, comfortable room, nice swimming pools (five of them)
Small annoyances - room not made up, power outlet for kettle not working, no towel available at pool
The location is nice on a hillside overlooking the jungle and river. We got an upgrade to the suite at the front of the resort and enjoyed the balcony and view. Last night we spend in one of the bungalows at the inside and enjoyed the garden & pool. Location is far from centre but we had our own car, and otherwise shuttle service is good.
The food at the restaurant wasn't any special. Some items need to be fixed for example: some of the beds at the pool were broken, our bathroom door in the bungalow totally bend and could not close, etc.
staff were excellent.breakfast not so special and not buffet, breakfast menu had not so many choices, overall very good for relaxation and being away from bustles.
Excellent hotel. Beautiful gardens, very friendly personal, good breakfasts, nice swimming pool areas, well appointed rooms/villas. Highly recommend.
spacious, flowers in the garden, staff very helpful
there's nothing wrong about this hotel itself. it's just that i don't like the colour scheme, for example the color of the swimming pools, or the way showers and bathtubs are designed. it's difficult of use the limited shuttle bus. we always had to take a taxi. sorry!
Our room had shower problem. No hoto water. I complained to the hotel in the morning and they promised to fix, but they forgot so we couldn't enjoy hot water until they offered the better room in the evening. They offered the best room anyway which was very good. One more thing; They asked me to come to the reception for the payment when I was wearing pajama before I go to sleep since the recepetion is closed until 7am ( we had to leave before 7am)
the worst experience ever. THe hotel needs major cleaning. I had rats and lizards in my room and the staff didn't help, nor did they think it was a b ig deal. they laughed it off.
The rooms were excellent, the service great, the pools just the best, the meals very nice & the breakfast just enough. We will definately return to the resort.
Absolutely nothing to complain about, excellent.
The Beji Resort is a wonderful little resort in Ubud! We loved the place, the location is great near some wonderful restorans and galeries, the rooms/villas are lovley, the view is fantastic and the pools at the resort are fantastic!!!
